- First by pressing F10 at boot time disable sata then try to install Xp sp2!

if its not working, ypu can try this:
1. download SATA AHCI controller from HP:ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp37001-37500/sp37005.exe
2. run the installer. you should see the inf files extracted under c:swsetupsp37005files
3. put this file into windows setup installer. You can use nLite or other software:
- Insert your original Windows Installation Disc then copy all files into folder in your local disk.
- run nLite (if dont have it, you can download it here=http://www.nliteos.com/download.html)
- Install nLite and open it.
- Locate Windows XP installation files in your local disk.
- Just click Next
- Select DRIVER button in the INTEGRATE and BOOTABLE ISO button in the CREATE, then click next
- Ckick INSERT - SINGLE DRIVER - LOCATE THE DRIVER OPEN - select the driver (c:swsetupsp37005filesthen) - click OK
- choose: "Intel(R) 82801HEM/HBM SATA AHCI Controller (Mobile ICH8M-E/M)" then NEXT.
- Do you want to start the process? Clik Yes
- When the process finished, click Next
- insert blank cd (dont use dvd)
- click refresh button
- select DIRECT BURN and its beter if you choose lowest burn speeddont forget to check "VERIFY", but its optional ofcourse
- Burn content to media? click yes
- It may take sometimes to burn it, so be patient
- When complete, click Next
4. Now, you can install your V3000 series with this CD.
